Paul May is a Director and Principal of WM Group and has worked as an environmental and water management engineer throughout New Zealand for over 22 years. He completed his BE(Civil) at Canterbury University in 1995. Paul is a member of the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand (M.IPENZ) and is currently a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and an International Professional Engineer (New Zealand) (IntPE(NZ)).

Pride is a Principal Hydrogeologist and Water Management Consultant at WM Group with over 14 years' experience in groundwater and surface water assessments. He provides technical leadership on groundwater investigation projects and provides expert advice on ground water and surface water issues to clients in mining, local government, agriculture, water supply and urban & industrial infrastructure development. Pride is an expert in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling. He has developed numerous 2D and 3D numerical groundwater models for  environmental, geotechnical, mining and water supply applications. Pride also has vast experience in water balance and water quality modelling for lakes, wetlands and mine sites to support formulation of water management plans and evaluation of potential environmental impacts.
